Our team of dedicated volunteers are key in the succuss of our organization.  No matter the amount of time, a little or a lot, once a week, once a month, it all makes a significate difference in the lives of the seniors in our community.  Volunteer contributions are important and are valued.

Meals on Wheel Drivers

More than just a meal.  Help the seniors in our community to stay healthy at home delivering nutritious lunches to their door. 

Better at Home

Support seniors stay safe in their homes.  Volunteers assist with online grocery ordering and friendly visits.

Friendly Phone Calls

Connect with seniors who are isolated or lonely and would like to hear a friendly voice.

Friendly Visits

Caregivers play an important role in the lives of their seniors. When they need a break, we help.  volunteers spend time visiting with a senior giving the caregivers a needed respite. 

Front Desk Volunteer

A great way to meet the seniors in the community and learn more about the resources available in and around prince george. Be a friendly face who greets the seniors who drop into our office or the helpful voice when answering the phone.

Christmas Hampers

We deliver Christmas hampers to over 200 seniors every year. Join our team of volunteers packing or delivering the hampers.

Special Events and Programs Volunteers

The Golden Age Socials, BCNE Seniors Fair, Christmas Hampers, Blue Bottle program, Income Tax Clinics are just a few of the special events and programs we offer. From set up to take down and all the fun in between our volunteer make these events shine!

Interested in volunteering? the process is simple.  We ask you to come in for an interview where you will need to provide 3 references (friends, fellow students, coworkers , professionals but please no family).  During the interview we can get to know you a little better, discuss your volunteer goals and tell you about the programs here.  You will also need to complete a police check (free for volunteers) and sign our confidential policy.  Our programs are a success due to the dedicated work of our volunteers.  We would love to have you join our team.
